Trent Dalton returns to Nashville High
where it all began, for one night only
Trent Dalton is heading back to his old stomping grounds to reminisce and talk about his transformation from student living in housing commission Bracken Ridge to award-winning journalist and international best-selling author. He'll join old friends and peers for a trip down memory lane and talk about the life that inspired his book Boy Swallows Universe.
Trent has kindly agreed to join us for a Q&A style event at Bracken Ridge State High School (formally and still fondly referred to as Nashville State High School,) to discuss life as a high school student in Bracken Ridge, his transformation to journalist and author, and the remarkable growth he has experienced since his novel was released in 2018.
An evening with Trent Dalton
Thursday 3 August 6:00pm
Bracken Ridge State High School,

Tickets have been kept at a minimum price of $10 each to ensure everyone who wishes to attend can be a part of the event. Trent has agreed to a tour of the school before the Q&A so that he can see the changes in the school and visit his old classrooms. He'll then be our guest in the Multi-Purpose Sports Centre where old teachers of his and current staff will chat with him about his life, love and the spiralling universe he has created.
