On Friday, Week 10 of lastTerm, our living Deadly Didge and Dance Cultural group performed at 4 local primary schools - Norris Road, Brighton, Nashville and Bracken Ridge.
Mrs Davies, Aunty Di and Mr Quant all proudly supported the very enthusiastic First Nations Students, through a 30 minute 'Sharing Performance".

Starting with Gari gynda Narmi, a welcome dance, animal Totem movements, followed by a didge vocal, with audience participation. (Only boys in audience played the Didge:)
Senior students Hayden and Mimi both engaged the audience with the BRack-N-Deadly story, of how our school mob, gathers regularly to yarn and to build culture connections.

The Primary students were very impressed with our musical and dance elements. And very thrilled to get involved in the face painting using ochre.

We All look forward to returning next year, with the hope of making this an annual event.
