To finalize the process of subject selection and enrolment into senior school, formal SET Plan interview will take place in August for our Year 10 students. Information about how to book an interview time will be emailed to students and parents, please check to see the details of this important appointment.
Some discussion topics you may like to discuss with your student in the lead up to these interviews include: Did they pass their subjects in Semester 1? If not, why not? What do they need to do to be successful? If they passed would they consider the subject next year, what career path could it lead to? What courses do they need to complete in and out of school to reach their goals? What is their plan for the next two years and beyond?
Year 10 results help determine what subjects are available to them in Year 11 and 12, so choosing subjects they enjoy and will have success in, is vital.
