In years 7 to 10 students undertake subject exams during their timetabled classes. These exams are generally supervised by their class teachers.
For students in year 11 and 12 exams maybe scheduled during blocks of time generally at end terms/semesters. In year 12 an External Examination block is determined by the QCCA for student in Queensland. This exam block signifies the end of the academic year and all assessment is finalise at this time. During the examination blocks there will be no formal classes unless otherwise notified (eg mock exams). When not required for a scheduled exams Students may dedicate time towards study and completion of other assessment . It is essential that students attend their scheduled exams to achieve recognition for their semesters work. Where a student misses any assessment they are required to contact the HOD Senior Schooling about the reasons for the absence and they will require a medical certificate to explain their absence. Further follow up will be required in order for an alternative assessment to be undertaken.
The exam timetable will be uploaded to this site well before the formal block testing is to occur.
