What’s on the burgers /salads?
All our meat products, cheeses and mayo are low fat. We don’t use butter or margarine unless requested.
All our meats are oven baked.
Items and prices may change throughout the year.
Rolls
Chicken burger – chicken patty with lettuce and mayo
Cheese burger – beef patty with cheese and Tomato sauce
Meatball sub – meatballs /cheese and BBQ sauce
Devil burger – is a spicy chicken fillet with lettuce / tomato and mayo
Jumbo chicken kebabs – are made from chicken breasts and lightly crumbed.
Steak burgers – steak with lettuce/tomato and bbq sauce.
Hot dogs (plain) – Frankfurt with tomato sauce
Hot dog / cheese – Frankfurt with grated cheese and tomato sauce
Salads
A salad comes in either a box, wholemeal sandwich or roll or Turkish bread and consists of:
Lettuce/carrot/tomato/cucumber/cheese with an option to add beetroot or onion at no extra cost. Also mayo or dressing can be added. Meat or Eggs and avocado are at extra cost.
Our chicken meat is made from chicken breast and is finely shredded and our ham is low fat.
Specials
We have ‘Specials’ most weeks and for example – butter chicken and rice / full large pizzas / meatball and pasta / tacos / fried rice etc.
These specials will go onto our menu white board at the tuckshop 2 days before selling. Usually they are available on a Thursday or a Friday.
Orders
If you order you can get what you want by adding more or less or having a different sauce etc.
EFTPOS is available and we recommend that if a student is using this way of payment it is advisable to pre – order. Minimum order for EFTPOS is $5. No cash out.
Having an EFTPOS card is a way that students don’t have to have cash on them. You can control the amount on the card and see where they have been spending. A receipt is given on request.
We try our best to cater for all needs of diet but sometimes it is not possible. So please contact me if this is needed. We try and keep our costs down as much as we can without sacrificing the quality.
Procedures
We Do Not Give Credit. Please do not ask.
If your child has forgotten their lunch or their efptos card has a fault we will offer a sandwich and a small juice/water which will have to be paid back the next day
We expect students to use their manners at all times.
We encourage students to pre order before school starts in the morning. Free bags are available.
We are self-service at morning tea and lunch.
Staffing
We are always looking for volunteers and if you are able to come, even if it is once a month we would appreciate it.
The Tuckshop is run by the P&C and all profits go back into the school.

The hours are between 9.30am and 2.00pm. Lunch is provided.
We are self-service so there is no handling of money for our volunteers.
Duties
The duties include:
preparing and making up rolls/sandwiches etc. for morning tea and lunch
general kitchen clean up
stocking drinks in our fridge
handing out morning tea and lunch orders to students and teachers
serving of ice blocks at 2nd break.
Requirements
Please wear closed in shoes and appropriate clothing.
All volunteers are to sign in at office.
If you are not the students mother or father or legal guardian you will require a Blue card.
