Bracken Ridge is dedicated to promoting the wellbeing of all students. We value each student and recognise that all our students - at any given time - may experience mental health issues which impacts their resilience.
Our school boasts a dedicated Wellbeing Team, led by our Guidance Officers. We work in a collaborative, inter-disciplinary way with our Principal, School Nurse, Chaplain, Youth Support Officer, First Nations Teacher's Aides, Heads of Department and Pathways Officer.
We work with parents to develop student's knowledge of, and ability to apply resilience strategies, as part of our commitment to achieving good mental health for all students.
Our team works within current Queensland Department of Education wellbeing policies and our work is proudly informed by evidence-based practice. For more, take a look at the learning and wellbeing framework for all Queensland State Schools.
