Schools develop policies to outline the requirements and expectations to manage the teaching, learning and assessment for all subjects and courses of study. The Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) provide schools with guidelines to follow across all sectors of learning. Bracken Ridge State High School implement and adhere to all guidelines.
Bracken Ridge State High School's Assessment Policy provides guidelines for promoting the equitable and credible outcomes for students through addressing:
- academic integrity,
- integrated learning and assessment and assessment guidelines, and
- advice in instances where illness, absences or arrangements for adjustments are required in order to complete assessment.
The 2023 Assessment Policy provides advice for teachers, parents and students. It is available for review on the School Website along with all necessary application forms.
