Enrolling at Bracken Ridge State High School
Thank you for your interest in enrolment at Bracken Ridge State High School. We know that selecting a high school can be a difficult decision for parents and students.

Bracken Ridge State High School has an Enrolment Management Plan in place, which sets out the conditions under which students are enrolled.
Enrolling students of any year level for 2025
Completion of this form does not constitute enrolment into BRSHS.
All families are required to attend an enrolment interview with the relevant Deputy Principal to ensure a smooth transition into school.
Enrolling Year 7 students for 2026
Applications for enrolment for Year 7 in 2026 are now open.

All families are required to attend a group enrolment session with the Principal or a representative to ensure a smooth transition into school. Families may also attend an individual interview to ease the transition into high school or discuss specific learning needs and circumstances. To arrange an interview please contact the Enrolments Officer at enrolments@brackenridgeshs.eq.edu.au.
After you submit your EOI, we will confirm receipt by email. Your application will be reviewed during Term 1 2025, once we receive your student's Year 5, Semester 2 report. Enrolment Interviews for successful applicants will begin in Term 2 of 2025.

Out of catchment applications for enrolment
Families who live outside of the catchment are welcome to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI).
Out-of-catchment students applying for enrolment at Bracken Ridge SHS will be placed on a waiting list and assessed in order of receipt.
Please complete an Expression of Interest Form when enrolling your child at Bracken Ridge State High School. Completion of this form does not constitute enrolment into BRSHS.
The Principal is responsible for all decision on enrolments.
