The Library at Bracken Ridge State High School is a well resourced centre comprising fiction, non-fiction, class sets, computer pod, and laptop pod. The library has a collection development policy that ensures that student resource needs are definitely not static. Resource selection is done with Curriculum needs of foremost concern, and in line with the Australian Curriculum. Fiction selection is nowadays increasingly important with the role of reading more important than ever with regards to student literacy.
