Facilities

At BRSHS, one of our key strategies is the focus on continual improvement of our facilities and infrastructure. 

Planned infrastructure:

• ​Estimated completion date: 2023 - Approximately $11.7 million, has been granted in the 2021-2022 budget to fund a new Music/Art/Drama Buidling.
  

• New music precinct with new classrooms, instrumental practice rooms, recording areas and instrumental stores. 
  

• New drama and media arts precinct, with editing areas, green room, costume storage and an incredible drama/dance studio
  

• Enormous undercover area for lunchtime play

• Upgrades to our car park, including a parent/visitor turnaround within the school groundss

• Brand new sports courts!
  

• Estimated completion date: 2021 - Raised walkway connecting B, C and E Block.  Providing much needed accessibly to various blocks in our school.
  

Infrastructure compelted to date:

• 2021 - Raised walkway and installation of a lift linking A and B Block. 
• 2021 - Installation of 100kw solar system across A and D Block.
• 2011 - Approx $2.4 million granted in extensive facility refurbishments to A, B, C, D and E Block (inclusive of general classrooms, computer rooms, administration area, resource centre, commonwealth science lab and grounds improvements valued at approximately $2.4 million).  In addition to a new language and science block.

These works have enhanced the learning environments and certainly contributed to a positive pride amongst our school community.
